Mission
To encourage, mentor, support and promote women and young people
in aviation careers and opportunities through education and
networking. More importantly, we focus on people, offering the
opportunity to make new aviation friends and form relationships
while encouraging the sharing of information, stories and
enthusiasm.
You don't have to be a woman or a
pilot to join our Chapter, you just have to love aviation.
WAI Oshkosh is the local chapter
of Women in Aviation, International-a nonprofit organization
open to men and women dedicated to the encouragement and
advancement of women in all aviation career fields and
interests. We get together the third Tuesday of every month to
network, enjoy presentations from local speakers, tour aviation
facilities, and plan community outreach efforts to encourage
young people to pursue aviation careers.
