The Ninety-Nines is the oldest female aviation organization, Amelia Earhart was one of their founding members and first president. It was founded in 1929 by 99 licensed women pilots for the mutual support and advancement of aviation.
The 99s Wisconsin Chapter was chartered in 1940, and is still going strong to this day. Members present seminars, complete air marking projects, give presentations for schools and community groups, and host a Pancake Breakfast each June in Watertown.
