The
WAI Alaska Regional Conference was held at the Millennium Alaska
Hotel in Anchorage. A bus tour of Anchorage with stops at Alaska
Aviation Heritage Museum, Earthquake Park, Lake Hood, and a
downtown city tour was the highlight of Friday. Opening night
reception allowed enjoyable conversations and good food with a
breathtaking view of Lake Spenard. Bonnie Kratz attended as a
speaker and to photograph the event for Aviation for Women
magazine, read her account in the October issue of the Aviatrix
Logbook.
