Women in Aviation-Oshkosh Chapter participated in the Sonex
Builder’s Workshop on February 2. The Chapter was invited to
participate in the hands-on portion of the weekend workshop and
learn the skills needed to scratch-build an aircraft out of
sheet metal by building a portion of a Sonex wing. The
experience was eye-opening for many of us, and we all learned a
lot about what goes in to building your own airplane. Plus, it
was a ton of fun! Thank
you to Betty, for suggesting and inviting us, and thank you to
the Sonex staff for helping us out that day!
