August 19, 2008The
chapter held it's third annual Summer Hangar Social at Joe and
Jeri Norris's hangar on Wittman Regional Airport, with several
new faces turning out for the festivities. Joe was again able to
give a few Young (and some old!) Eagles rides in his restored Waco UPF-7 biplane, and
EAA volunteer pilot Fred Stadler gave a presentation on
researching aircraft history and the history of EAA's 1927
Swallow biplane.
